THE QUALITY SYSTEM
Quality means for us a system like a chain formed by several linked
rings, all fundamental for the achievement of the final objective: an
excellent cup of coffee. That means product quality, efficiency of
equipments and of the maintenance service, professionalism and kindness
of the commercial network and the customer service.
Quality starts evaluating the most reliable suppliers, able to assure a
constant service and selection of the purchased green coffees, which are
always tested both under organoleptic and sanitary aspects (chemical-
physical-bacteriological) by independent laboratories internationally
recognized. Samples of the various lots to be purchased are always also
sent to our company laboratory to test the required characteristics and to
authorize the acquisition. The coffee that arrives in our warehouses gets
compared with the purchased samples in order to authorize the production
start up. Other tests are done after roasting. Different roasted lots are also
tasted and archived.
Caffé Vero decided to obtain the final product quality certification
accepting voluntarily the controls made by the CSQA, the most important
authoritative agency in the agricultural and food sector.
The certifying agency verifies values and parameters to be constantly
respected to assure the purchased product quality and to obtain the best
results from any manufacturing, packaging and shipping phase.
